The Network exists since 2017 and unites around 40 Liechtenstein organisations and individuals who are committed to development cooperation and international solidarity. On the occasion of the World Humanitarian Day on 19 August 2021, the first national donation day was launched in Liechtenstein, with the aim of sensitizing the population to the fatal consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. A total of 17 organisations participated, which all carried out short-term relief measures in various countries. For example, the distribution of food, water or protective masks, the delivery of machines and material to local hospitals, the vaccination of the local population or protection against violence. With conviction, the Medicor Foundation has supported this action. A total of CHF 192 000 was collected.
